Victoria Liou-Dompe
Publicity Manager/Lesson Coordinator

Victoria Liou-Dompe grew up in the Bay Area and on the Peninsula, she was driven to school everyday via Page Mill Road. She always saw the horses grazing on the hills along the road and everyday she would beg her mother for a horse. She always dreamed of riding her horse through the hills in Portola Valley.

At age 11, Victoria went to a friend's house to ride her horses - unfortunately, all the horses were quite green - and so was Victoria. Needless to say, she did not fare so well. She suffered a major concussion, a compound fracture to the right arm (ulna and radius), a couple of bruised ribs and many deep abrasions. It would be 12 years before Victoria rode a horse again, and it would be because of Nancy van Zwol.

Nancy has enabled Victoria to fulfill her dream of riding horses, owning horses and riding through the hills in Portola Valley. So, she would like to return the favor and help to enable others to be able to fulfill their dreams of riding as well.
