Victoria Liou-Dompe - The road to Victoria's involvement is a strange twisted journey. Victoria began a search for an adult draft cross gelding who had some training under his belt. She answered an ad about a 4 year old Percheron - who didn't turn out to be what she was looking for, and instead ended up befriending Christina, who works for Bar 26 and, was on a mission to save some PMU babies. So, being the animal lover (read: sucker) that she is, she agreed to help - thus Ransom Ranch was born.

Christina Rae - Christina is an employee of Bar 26 and Abe Phillips. When she found out that these PMU foals were going to slaughter, she was determined to save as many as possible. In talking with Victoria, she gained a sympathetic friend who was equally determined to find homes for these foals. Christina is also handling all the mare adoptions, please see her website SOS Rescue. Christina's sister, LeeAnne, is handling the foal adoptions in Canada. Christina's rescue, SOS Rescue has bloomed greatly in the last year - handling not only Canadian adoptions, but US adoptions as well. The network has grown across the US, mares, foals, some geldings and stallions are available for adoption through SOS Rescue.

Ulrike Perry - Legal Counsel - Ulli joined Ransom Ranch initially as an adopter and over time has provided invaluable legal advice and counselling. She is currently a California State Licensed lawyer, as well as real estate broker.

Ransom Ranch consists of Victoria and Christina. If you are interested in adopting or donating, please talk to either one of us ONLY. Anyone else representing themselves as Ransom Ranch is a fraud.

RR's goal is to save as many babies as possible, we have no political agenda, and we are not setting out to change an industry. We just want to find homes for these babies. We are by no means a true "rescue organization," since there are only two of us coordinating the effort. But through adoptions and meeting people, perhaps we can grow to become one and be able to expand our efforts to greater heights.
