Nicholas Dompe (the "N" in NVous) is a classically trained mad scientist. He earned his Bachelor's from University of California, Santa Cruz, in Molecular, Cellular, Developmental Biology. In laymen terms, he's a geneticist. Don't ask him about Dolly, he's not in that kind of Genetics, he works with the Drosophila Melanogaster or the Fruit Fly. On top of being a scientist, he is also an artist, he has done many scientific drawings for the Bill Sullivan Lab as well as some graphics in Ph.D. dissertations and conferences. He started on his college career as a Marine Biologist, but fell in love with Organic Chemistry and Molecular Biology. He has also been know to dabble in drawings/paintings of marine life. He cites Salvador Dali as one of his biggest artistic influences, as well as the sci-fi/horror rederings of H.R. Giger.
Victoria Liou-Dompe (you guessed it, the "V" in NVous) is a writer by nature. Upon entering college, she couldn't decide what she wanted to do, so she chose what came naturally, Literature. She also went to University of California, Santa Cruz as an American Literature major. She was originally a Photojournalism major, but the art program was too impacted as a result of cuts in funding (that's another can of worms you don't want opened!). She credits her Grandparents and her Mother for making her the person she is today. She especially credits her Grandfather for teaching her the love of writing and reading. Her children are also a daily inspiration to live life to its fullest. To this day, she still doesn't know what she would like to do when she "grows up," she has aspirations of becoming a veterinarian, or a cardiologist, or anything having to do with horses as well as living the bohemian lifestyle of an artist or writer. But, for now, she's perfectly happy as the President/CEO of NVous Designs and as a mom to Phillip and Brennan.
Victoria does most of the Graphic Designs, as well as most of the Web Site Designing. Whereas Nick does all of the 3-D Design, Animation, and most of the original paintings. They have two dogs, Zephyr and Morpheus (both German Shepherd-y dogs) , as well as two cats, Dino and Athena, and two horses, Aethon and Poseidon. They have also been foster parents of German Shepherds as well as advocates of adoption. Adopt a pet or a kid!!
